OVERDOSE
Overdosage of cephalosporins can cause cerebral irritation
leading to convulsions. Serum levels of cefuroxime can
be reduced by hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Cefuroxime axetil products are contraindicated in patients
with known allergy to the cephalosporin group of antibiotics.
